Love the photo shoot. My niece can be a real sour puss when it comes to the camera. But, if you let her just be herself, make funny faces and whatnot, you might also be lucky enough to capture her smile. I think that’s why I like the photo where Maggie is sticking her tongue out. Kids will be kids – and you’ve got yourself a cute one!

oh she has her daddy’s skin tone for sure- I’m so jealous! Blond, curly hair and tan skin, plus the green eyes… we tell her all the time, people PAY MONEY FOR THAT STUFF. haha

I LOVE that dress. It took a while to convince her to start wearing it this summer- apparently, according to her, it doesn’t “spin good”. *rolls eyes*

She does look so grown up. Wow.

And like she could hold a tan really well. Great skin tone. Which, of course, matters so much at that age.

I know!! So glad it’s not just me :) I mean, don’t get me wrong- I’m glad that we’re already settled in a place and we don’t have to deal with Something New right now (there’s enough New Stuff on the horizon in our house!!!) but still, it was a little anticlimactic.

She did make a cute apple/worm craft though. And learned about calling 911. So there’s some excitement for the day!

DUDE. I wrote almost the exact same post yesterday (it won’t run until next week cuz it was for that cereal thingy). It’s so weird that everybody is all wound up about the first day of school and that we are all like, “Um, yeah. Let’s do the same thing today that we did yesterday.” I feel kinda left out!

I just saw your post and noticed the backpack- our little princess girls :)

I love that Zoe was so excited to go to preschool! Her face in those pictures was hilarious, so much ENERGY!

Ha! Our posts are like yin & yang today, except for the Disney backpacks. ;) Preschool was a HUGE deal for us since Zoe’s never been. I actually wish it hadn’t felt like such a big deal, it would have been much less stressful. I love that 4th picture. She’s got such a fun personality that shows in her photos. :)
