so! Thanksgiving! that happened!

We are fortunate enough to not have to travel very far at all at the holidays because a lot of the people we love most live right here in Pittsburgh, and this Thanksgiving was even more mellow than usual. After a lazy-ish morning in our pajamas, we drove to Dan’s parents house in the early afternoon- twenty whole minutes!- and had our first feast there, then headed to my parents’ house in the evening (5 minutes from home) for dessert and some side dishes (turkey is just FILLER, I say. GIMME STUFFING.)

It was just an all-around nice day. Relaxing, no stress, no drama (other than the usual stuff that comes with having daughters age 5 and 2, AHEM.), laughs and good food, plus I got to wear my stretchy pants all day. I couldn’t ask for more, really.

Then we came home and I turned on our Christmas lights because IT WAS TIME.

I agree. I barely eat any turkey. I like all the smooshy food especially stuffing!

Are those little pilgrims salt and pepper shakers? I love them.

Oh my goodness sakes…that smooshy baby in a flannel shirt!

    Too much for me.

One socked baby! I cannot. Who is that little one and can I have him? My four month old was never that little. Nope.

    Yes, STUFFING! I agree wholeheartedly!

The girls (and new little boy!) are adorable!
