(I spent the weekend with a bunch of amazing ladies in New Orleans, and I have lots to say about that! But later. I promise!)
This is my last pregnancy, for 100% absolute certain OMG I SWEAR. I’ve tried my hardest to enjoy the moments when I’m able (so, you know, weeks 6 through 12 are OUT because BAARRRRF.) and to really savor the feelings of early baby kicks. It’s tough to do with two OTHER kids, plus work and life and other distractions, but I do have times now and then where I’m overwhelmed with the idea that Wow! There’s a baby in there! We’re having another one! It’s the last time I’ll experience this magical (“MAGICAL” haaaaa) thing and I want to keep that in mind as everything happens.
Today was my 19 week sonogram (NINETEEN WEEKS! Almost halfway there!) and while it wasn’t the first pregnancy sonogram I’ve ever had, it was certainly the first time I’ve heard the word “boy” during one.
That’s right. We’re having a boy. Maggie and Audrey are going to have a baby brother.
