Audrey video overload. You’re welcome.

Oh! Hi! How’s it going?

Me? Oh, things are good. Wonderful, even! Just busy. Christmas preparations, shopping, baking, planning. Work, obviously. But mostly?

THIS SMALL CREATURE LIVING IN MY HOUSE (and her big sister, too. But let’s focus on the Small One for moment, shall we?)

We call her ‘the baby’ still, but you guys… she’s not a baby anymore. The only baby things about her are the bottle she drinks at bedtime and the diapers, and maybe the fact that she can’t talk yet (but oh, she tries. heh) Otherwise, she is a running, giggling, climbing, crazy-haired KID. Full of piss and vinegar. Girlfriend is SAUCY.

A few weeks ago I finally downloaded months worth of videos from my phone and old digital camera. There were videos on there from JULY. Which isn’t all that long ago, but when you’re talking about Baby Time, that’s a LONG TIME.

She was so LITTLE. And had teeny tiny hair compared to now! But, you know, she already had her temper.

Then suddenly, she was running around the house like a nut. Yelling at us for things that did not please her. Giving kisses. Being silly. Climbing on everything. Some video evidence, of course:

These next two are my favorites. Audrey dancing on Thanksgiving. You guys, she’s terrible. I love it.

And this was one beautiful afternoon on a November Saturday. For twenty minutes, at least, she did this. She was fascinated.

So yeah. I’ve been busy keeping up with all of that. Babies are a lot of work. A baby and a preschooler is even more work. A toddler and a preschooler? Good gravy, I’m exhausted.

If you need me, I’ll be busy keeping my second born child from diving head first off the couch. All in a day’s work, you know.

What Kelly said! I was thinking of those Thriller flash mobs when I saw her dancing.

I love to see Maggie and Audrey together – I can’t wait to see my kids play together as the baby gets older! (and that dancing is adorable)

Oh, look at her grow! She’s so big & capable now! I love that last video – I love watching them figure something out and just experiment with it. My goodness, they learn things so fast! This post is a great way to show that off, too – July:November::Baby:Toddler. Crazy changes in such a short time!
