delicious e-licious! a giveaway

I love to cook. Well- let me back up. I love to EAT. And if I want to eat good food in my own house, I have to cook it myself. So, by extension, I love to cook because that means I get to eat yummy stuff. A means to an end!

My love of food has led me to accumulate about a bazillion printed recipes from the internet. I have a big orange binder in my kitchen stuffed with them. But, I gotta be honest. A lot of the recipes I’ve printed will most likely never be made because while they look and sound amazing, they are long and complicated and usually contain ingredients I can’t find in my grocery store. So when I say I like to cook, I actually mean I like to cook simple, tasty, quick meals that everyone will eat (or most everyone- we do have a Very Picky 4 year old in the house).

Behold the E-licious E-Cookbook.

The lovely Jenna has put together her favorite tried and true meals, appetizers, soups… over sixty pages chock full of delicious recipes, with photos, and all divided up into themed categories like “Backyard Barbeque”, “Happy Hour” and even “Crockpot Meals”. And these are real food recipes- Spicy Romano Chicken. Salsa Verde Pork Tacos. CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE. Stuff we would actually eat! With ingredients I most likely have in my pantry already. Fabulous.

And here’s the best part: one of you will get a copy of this recipe collection for free! To enter the giveaway:

1. Mandatory entry: Leave a comment here telling me your favorite quick and easy dinner.
2. Bonus entry: “Like” Jenna’s Facebook page and leave a comment telling me you’ve done so.
3. Bonus entry: Subscribe to Jenna’s blog either via email or her RSS feed, and leave a separate comment saying so.

Quick and easy in our house can sometimes mean PB&J. But to protect my honor, I’ll add something *somewhat* healthy. Leftover grilled chicken tenderloins, white rice and steamed green beans. My kids dig it.
