It was big. And block-y. And build-y. I feel like I need to make up words for the whole experience, because there’s really nothing else quite like it.
I mean, where else can you see a life-sized LEGO Harry Potter and Hagrid?
And where else do they dump piles and piles of LEGOs on the floor for kids to climb through for hours?
Certainly not at my house. The 9 month old creature would eat them for sure.
Despite the fact that Maggie was worn out from our busy boat outing the day before for Father’s Day, she did pretty well and had a great time. She built her own ‘Princess World’ (her description) to contribute to Creation Nation- a huge city completely built by the kids.
Check out the pink Steelers building in the middle! Maggie picked it out right away.
She also built a car with Daddy to race down the tracks.
It broke apart on impact. I told her to fire her engineer. ha
LEGO KidsFest was neat, no doubt about it. There was a lot we didn’t get to (with a tired baby along for the ride, things can get interesting!) But I know Maggie had a great time with the things she got to do, so that’s what matters to me.
Many thanks to the people at LEGO KidsFest for giving us the opportunity to participate in the event! The opinions expressed are based on my own experience, and no additional compensation was received for this review.
