review: Easy Canvas Prints to pretty up your walls

I love pictures. LOVE. Taking them, looking at great ones, whatever. I am nearing 20,000 pictures in my Lightroom catalog. That’s… a lot of photos for someone who doesn’t take pictures for her job. But, I have two adorable (in my humble opinion) girls who give me tons of good photo fodder. Even if Maggie won’t let me take her picture lately.

PSA: FOUR YEAR OLDS ARE STUBBORN.

Anyway. My mission the past year has been to keep up with swapping out the prints I’ve got hanging around the house. There are a few stragglers from when Maggie was a wee baby, because they are so cute and I can hardly remember my spirited (is that what we’re calling DEFIANT and PAIN IN THE BUTT these days?) preschooler as a chubby crawler so I keep them around. But for the most part, I’ve been doing pretty well at updating the photos every couple of months. It’s been fairly easy: I have picture frames in their spots, all I have to do is change the photos and I’ve got somewhat current images of our girls greeting us as we walk past.

BUT NOW. Things are going to get crazy, you guys. I’ve discovered CANVAS PRINTS. Now I’m gonna have to rearrange EVERYTHING!!!

Easy Canvas Prints sent me an 8″x10″ canvas wrapped print of Audrey.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, because I’d never seen an up-close version of a canvas print in someone’s home. So I was pleasantly surprised and VERY excited about the idea of getting some more of these. The image quality is excellent and the canvas-look just takes it to a whole new level. So professional! So artsy!

Placing the order was a really simple, step-by-step process. I especially like the way they have graphic of a couch so you can compare the size of your canvas with what might be in your room, because it can be tough to imagine how an 8″x10″ print will look compared to a 11″x14″ or 16″x20″. Very nice touch. Then you upload your photo, add any special effects you want, and you’re done! It shipped fast and, as you can see, it’s beautiful.

My only regret is that I placed the order before this photo was taken. Otherwise I may have picked that one instead because SERIOUSLY, HOW AWESOME IS THAT PICTURE. But! That just means I’ll have to place another order, very very soon… :)

Photos to Canvas If you’re interested AT ALL in photography and/or plastering your walls with pretty things, I highly recommend Easy Canvas Prints. For real.

Disclosure: I was given a canvas print for the purposes of this review. The opinions expressed are my own, and no additional compensation was received.

That picture of Dan and the girls is seriously one of the most awesome pictures I have seen in a long time. I’m tempted to haul my husband and kids outside and see if I can recreate my own version!

Oh yeah, and canvas prints are way cool! :)

I absolutely love it- and my MOM took it! About 5 seconds after she was pressing the ISO button to try to take the pictures. LOL Just goes to show you that sometimes, taking a great picture is all luck and chance ;) heh

  2. After our wedding, I had one of our photos printed on canvas and simply framed. It is stunning. I wound up doing the same thing with a photo from our maternity shoot. Two of my favorite pieces of “art” in our home. We’ll definitely do it again as our family grows old together!!

Aw, such a sweet picture of Audrey. :) Love that picture of Dan & the girls too, though. PERFECT.

I love the idea of getting some of these made. It’s a good thing I just spackled and painted my family room wall so I can rearrange things, don’t you think? ;)
