Win tickets to LEGO KidsFest Pittsburgh!

Remember a few weeks ago when I mentioned a future LEGO KidsFest ticket giveaway? IT’S TIIIIIME!

Before I get to the details of the giveaway… what is Lego KidsFest? Besides AWESOME?

LEGO KidsFest is a three-day show filled with hands-on, interactive and educational activities for the whole family. Get creative in the construction zones, meet LEGO Master Builders, help build the Creation Nation and Mystery Murals, experience LEGO Universe and LEGO Games, and see dozens of life-sized models made entirely from LEGO bricks. LEGO KidsFest is an event for all ages – anyone from 2 to 102 years old! We offer DUPLO Construction areas for toddlers through LEGO Universe and Video Game Gallery for teens and adults.

You can read more about the activities, exhibits, and games at the LEGO KidsFest website.

So what can you win? Two tickets to the Sunday, Session II on June 19th from 3-8pm for LEGO KidsFest at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. (If you don’t win or can’t take advantage of the giveaway for that timeslot, you can still buy tickets at www.LEGOKidsFest.com.) All you have to do is leave a comment here telling me what your first stop will be from the activities & exhibits list. Will you be checking out the life-sized models first? Or heading to the races? Or maybe you want to play some LEGO video games! Leave your answer in the comments below, and I’ll be picking a random winner on June 1, 2011.

UPDATED June 1, 2011

We will be hitting Creation Nation first. My boys will be in heaven. This looks like so much awesome. It is going to be a great weekend. First, Taylor Swift on the 18th then Lego’s on the 19th. Jaden is scoring to collect every minifig ever made. We are true Lego nerds.

I bet George would want to see the Master Builders first. He would be like a 5-year old in total AWE, lol.

The Lego Kids Fest in Cleveland isn’t until November… bummer, we have to wait. :(

  3. I’m excited about the LegoStore! My son wants to hit the race tracks first!! He loved LegoLand in CA and was fascinated with the models all over the park, so I think we’ll both enjoy that! My son’s lego collection is massive…he’s been a lego lover his whole life. We’re THRILLED LegoFest is coming to Pittsburgh!

My husband, daughter and I would go straight to the Model Museum. My husband loves Legos and this would be a great father’s day because he hates the holiday since his dad passed away the day before 5 years ago and now we have a daughter. He can finally enjoy father’s day again and Legos are the right thing to his heart! :)

I am having a hard time figuring out where we would go first. Chuckie is a Lego Club member so maybe the members area, but he would be amazed at the Model Museum…and he loves video games soooooo one of those 3….lol.

we will stop at the mural wall and build some pieces for that!

Kate has just gotten into legos. (Flora was never interested.) She loves to build stuff and then play with it. I’m sure with The Boy, the Legos will be endless….

It’s so hard to choose. My 3 boys (8, 5 & 3) will love each & every section. I think we will start with the Museum, then the Creation Nation, then the Video Games & finaly because you can’t go to a Lego Fest without going to the store. My husband & I have not told the boys about the GREAT Lego adventure because we are not sure whether we can afford to purchase 5 tickets, I hope that we get an opportunity to take our boys.

Totally playing Lego Wii Star Wars! My kids and I love playing with the Jedi…it’s awesome how there’s fighting on the game…but that with the Lego characters, the graphics are appropriate for young kids. That’s where we’ll be first!
