never enough

I’ve already become a cliche: the mom with the second kid and takes next to NO pictures of the poor thing (other than the professional pictures I posted and the random, crappy cell phone pics I upload to Twitter. but those don’t really count.)

If I compare the number of photos I have of Maggie’s first 2 months with Audrey’s… well, let’s just be happy that’s not an actual indication of love. It’s more an indication of Not Having Enough Time Or Energy To Keep Up.

But that changed on Tuesday. I was rested and the weather was gorgeous and we headed outside. I took my camera.

I’m glad I did.

L is for... loser?

It felt so good. Maggie giggling, me snapping her picture, Audrey hanging out in her stroller. It felt like we might be getting back to normal. Finally. After eight long and tiring weeks, things are falling into place. That’s not to say that things aren’t sometimes insane and frustrating and hard, but it’s getting easier with two. And almost… fun.

she's got the crazy eyes

don't you DARE stick your tongue out at me, kid

I’m going to make an effort to take more pictures of my girls.

OMG once I scrolled down and saw her I instantly smiled. She’s ADORABLE and getting so BIG!

Also, can Maggie look any more like Dan? I mean COME ON.

I have to go digging upstairs in the office and find Dan’s 11th grade school picture. One of the shots I took of Maggie made me do a double-take. It’s Dan. As a three year old blond girl. heh

I love how your girls both have stunning eyes!

I think the weather this week has been such a mood lifter! Glad you’re feeling good. :)

Was she really giving you the “loser” sign there?

ha! no, I think she was actually just ‘framing’ her face (like ‘CHEESE!’) and she’s a goofball so she only did it halfway. But she does do the L for Loser sometimes. Her PapPap taught her that one… ;)
