pretty colors, Mommy
This morning in the car, Maggie started shouting out colors.
“ORANGE!”
“YELLOW!”
“RED!”
I didn’t pay much attention to which colors she was yelling, until she said: “It’s FALL, Mommy!!”
Then she spent the next 10 minutes chatting about the trees and the pretty colors and IT’S FALL! SO PRETTY! WHERE ARE THE TREES? THERE THEY ARE!
We had a whole conversation about the leaves changing in the fall when it gets cold and the days get shorter. And I’m pretty sure she understood most of what I explained. How did this happen? She was just a baby like 5 minutes ago.

You blinked kiddo. They always grow after you blink.
Damned kids.
Awww what a sweet little face! Don’t tell me how fast they grow up. I’m still soaking up my son’s 2 1/2 month old face. The next thing I know he’ll be 18 and moving out. :(
