weekly winners, volume 25

HELLO THERE! Don’t mind us, we’re just recovering from an incredibly fun weekend. So yeah I’m like 2 days late with my Weekly Winners. whoops.

(Also, just an update on Maggie’s leg thing from Friday (called ‘toxic synovitis‘ in case you were wondering): she’s doing just fine. She woke up Saturday morning with a fever and it was up & down all day. But she was walking and running and playing at the party we went to that afternoon, so yay for that. Of course, she wore herself out doing that, so her fever spiked a bit and she threw up. NOT YAY FOR THAT. But by yesterday, the fever was gone. She has been a little more tired than normal, which of course equals cranky, so YAY FOR THAT *sarcasm* She’s not complaining about any leg pain anymore though, so I’ll take that as a good sign. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts, and also for a few of your sharing your experiences with this ridiculously bizarre condition. A big WTH, don’t you agree?)

(not a great photo, technically-speaking, but I LOVE the fact that she’s sitting at the poker table with the boys.)

Love all the photos! I’m so glad Maggie is getting better. How FREAKY! I’m glad I know about it in case we run into that in the future. And dude.. that is one reason why I love the show Mystery Diagnosis.. because I totally know of these freak things to look for or consider if weird symptoms ever come about.

oh I KNOW!! I had no idea such a thing even existed. But apparently it’s not that unusual, just not talked about much I guess? Very weird. I both love and hate that Mystery Diagnosis show… love it because it’s fascinating but hate it because then I think I’m dying when I get a hangnail. LOL

I totally understand about it making you a complete hypochondriac.. but I think even worse than that, is how they zoom in to the eyeballs of the people they are interviewing throughout the entire episode. I guess they are doing it for dramatic effect but it actually ANNOYS my husband and I beyond belief! The craziest one I’ve EVER seen is where some girl is drinking like 10 gallons of water a day because she can’t ever quench her thirst and come to find out she has some weird rare form of diabetes. WTH?!?!
