beach-bound


That’s what we’ll be at approximately 5am tomorrow (which in reality will probably be more like 6am, but I’m trying to be optimistic here.) Just a short (ha) 10-hour drive and it’ll be sand & sunshine for 7 days.

We’re actually staying not too far from where we were last year. Not right on the beach this time (that was pretty much a once in a lifetime thing!) but a few blocks in-land. Still close enough to see the ocean from the house, so good enough for me! My mom is also coming along this year, so we’re excited about that. And not just for free babysitting. ha

We’re hoping Maggie is a little less disgusted with the sand this time around.

She only had 4 teeth last year. This time, she has them all.

Dan lost his wedding ring in the sand. A nice fisherman down the beach had a metal detector- he found it in 5 minutes.

    Can’t wait to see the pics this year! We stayed across the street from the beach and it was really nice but the next time we are hoping to be on the beach side!
    Is your Dad there too or just your mom?!
