It has become increasingly obvious to me lately that sometimes it’s more effective to capture Maggie via video than photos. As a baby, she didn’t do much other than lay there and be cute (or weird-looking, because all babies- even the cute ones- had a Weird-Looking Baby Phase) And that motionless-cuteness was adequately captured using a still camera. But now that she’s walking and talking and playing and being silly… to truly capture her essence, I need movement and sound.
Thus I bring you some videos from last night in her playroom. Starring Maggie, Dan, a very messy toy room, and my voice.

This is my favorite kid age. It really really is. I love seeing them grow and develop into their own little personalities. :)
She’s so freaking cute and smart.
I can’t wait to work with kids one day!

She’s adorable! I agree with Mel; this is such a fun age, watching them learn and grow…they do something new every day! Heh, mine still hasn’t gotten down winking – maybe I’ll try Popeye on her!
Maggie is definitely a smart one. Sometimes when I see & hear the things she does, I’m amazed. But, then again, Abby amazes me every day, too, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Last night, she sat down and read some of her books to me, and got the stories mostly right, even the longer ones, like “The Giving Tree.” Kids are amazing and wonderful!
And, yes, I totally agree with this post in that it is getting very difficult to get any good still shots these days! I have been capturing a lot more video lately, too. Now I just need to get it off of the camera and upload it! Heh!

Holy cuteness, Batman! Maggie as Popeye?! That is priceless. I couldn’t stop laughing!
She is too cute. “Bonk!” Seriously…that just made my day.
Pictures are getting increasingly difficult. They just won’t stay still and look pretty anymore, will they?!

Ha! So cute!! The boys heard the audio and came to watch. The little boy was quite fascinated by the baby on mom’s computer. Maggie might just have another little fan!
