cookies
Today involved cookies in one way or another.
First, this morning, Maggie ‘tossed her cookies’ all over the place after breakfast. Then again after lunch. She acted completely normal all day, aside from the puking, so we’re not sure what’s up. We kept dinner bland- just noodles and some crackers, maybe a few carrots (this time, no ketchup!)- and only let her drink water and Pedialyte, no milk. She’s now in bed, hopefully for the night, but had a slight fever before bed. I just REALLY hope this doesn’t screw up the great progress we made this week with her sleeping at night. I WILL CRY.
The other ‘cookies’ of the day involved a cookie swap with the Burgh Moms. HOLY. COW. SO MANY COOKIES. They all look delicious and amazing and I can say for certain that the 7-layer bars and the cranberry white-chocolate chip ones ARE delicious and amazing. (It was a long drive home, shut up. I had to sample!) I had a nice time- I was exhausted from being out late last night and cleaning up puke this morning, so I wasn’t as chatty as I usually am (some of you are saying ‘Whoa, THAT was ‘not chatty’? I am now scared to see you in a talkative mood!’) But it was great seeing you all again and meeting the new people. I’ve added all of your blogs to my feed reader so I can catch up!
And now I’m settling in to watch 2 weeks’ worth of Grey’s Anatomy on my laptop. I’ve heard that the sharks are definitely circling, but I’m determined to hang in there with this show. I want to believe there is still hope for it.

COOKIES! Now I want to make some. I won’t ruin Grey’s for you… I’m still a fan, but I’m really wondering where they’re going with some of these story lines! :)

I have broken up with Grey’s. It jumped over the shark and landed in the shallow end. I am very bummed about this!
oh, yeah, they are circling… but I’m still watching… because McDreamy is still dreamy… well and because I can never let shows just go… I’m still watching ER!!
Hope Maggie feels better. Hope she keeps it to herself, and you or Dan don’t get it… and hope Maria doesn’t get it either!!

@Jane: I’m the same way- still watching ER! I just watched both Grey’s episodes last night… I don’t think it was that bad, honestly. The Denny storyline was a little odd, but at least it’s not the same as every other show on TV!
I hope Maggie is feeling better soon – how did she sleep last night?
I’ve now got my husband watching Grey’s and he’s all bent out of shape about the Denny story line. I love that he’s so invested now. :) But I am loving the new Christina story.

I’m with Corrie and broke up with Grey’s about a month ago…it just isn’t the same show anymore. Now, Thursday nights are just for The Office. :)
