liar, liar, pants on fire!
This morning, after playing outside in the cold with Dan for a little while, Maggie was very mellow and acting sleepy. It was still a few hours from her normal nap time, but she was pretty fussy and just wanted to snuggle. After a little while of snuggling with Dan on the couch while they watched Sesame Street, she wiggled her way down to the floor. Dan asked her if she was sleepy. “No!” she said.
I’m pretty sure she was lying.
She ate her lunch, and then took a 3 hour nap. It was a very quiet day.

Yay for long naps! :) Oliver AND George and I all took a 3-hr nap today, woohoo!
I am jealous of parents with snuggly kids, even occasionally snuggly kids. Oliver has not wanted to snuggle since he was about, oh, I don’t know… a month old? heh. Maybe it’s a boy thing, like my mom says. But I’m still missing out on snuggles, waaah! :(
Aww, that’s cute. :) I imagine it’s nice to have some quiet time during the day every once in a while, though.
What a good girl!! She deserves a cookie!
@Melissa: Normally she’s not a snuggler- way too busy for that!- but since she wasn’t feeling very well, Dan was able to get her to sit still for quite a while. It’s the only upside to when she’s tired/sick ;) He said she can be cranky as long as she snuggles with him like that!
