8 things
I’ve been tagged! by Mel! This one kind of reminds me of 43 Things… which I haven’t updated in a looong time.
8 things I must accomplish before I die:
1. Travel, travel, travel. Doesn’t matter where, really. I would love to just take a couple of months and GO. But that will have to wait till kids are grown and moved away, I guess.
2. Learn to play the piano.
3. Actually get all the laundry washed, folded and put away in the same day. Hasn’t happened yet.
4. Hire a personal chef. I do enjoy cooking, but I enjoy eating more… so I’m thinking this would be just fine. And maybe they’d let me help now and then, if I got the urge?
5. Get caught up on my scrapbooking. Hey, I have until I die! Hopefully that’s a lot of years… because dude, I’m so behind.
6. Skydive. Susan has inspired me. Someday, I will do it!
7. Run a mile without DYING.
8. See NKOTB in concert, since I never got to go as a kid. OH WAIT- I AM!!!! October 3 with Melissa! WOOHOO!
hm… now who should I annoy with the tagging? How about the last 8 people to leave a comment on my blog? Kirida, Melissa, Georgie, Rachie, Corrie, Claudia, Backpacking Dad, and Lela. There. Now nobody will ever comment on my blog again, for fear that they’ll be tagged in a meme ;)

Ooooh, I like the personal chef idea!

I’ve always wanted to learn to play the piano! It seems so classy, and it’s a reason to buy a beautiful piano to proudly display in a nice living room. (At least, that is what would happen in the dream house in my mind.)
And I think I die a little inside every time I look at my iPhoto, which holds thousands of pictures from the last six years that I fear I will never do anything with.

So true but since you just tagged people, I think we’re safe! I like the personal chef idea too, although right now I’d just say enough time to cook supper without my kid screaming her head off for bedtime.

My goal? To skydive BEFORE you do. I’m going to be awesome like that.

oh boy. I’m going to pwn this meme.
Let me just recommend, when you skydive, pay the extra money and take the extra time and do a solo jump (vs a tandum jump.) There’s nothing like free-falling (with an instructor right beside you,) then pulling your own ripcord and floating down to the ground! It was so intoxicating, Brad and I did it twice! :)

And you’re brave to want to skydive, I’d be too chicken!

I’m going on Sept 21 in Toronto. I’ve got floor seats – row 37!!! I can’t believe how quickly it’s approaching…
Hope everything is good with you! I thought I was going to get back into blogging but I’m just so damn busy all the time – it never ends!!
Getting the laundry done in a day is actually easy for me, but i’m a single guy. Piano will take years and years to learn, better get started soon!
