let’s talk about rainbows and unicorns for a while!

Wow, is it just me or has the Internet been kind of a downer this week? And my blog hasn’t been helping. Let’s do something completely pointless and silly, shall we? (borrowed from Mel)

1. I’ve come to realize that my butt: will never look like this.
2. I’ve come to realize that when I talk: I use my hands and say ‘like’ A LOT.
3. I’ve come to realize that if I love someone: I should tell them.
4. I’ve come to realize that I need: my me time. And I shouldn’t be ashamed to admit it.
5. I’ve come to realize that I’ve lost: a little bit of my ability to care what other people think about me since becoming a Mom. Not all of it, but a little.
6. I’ve come to realize that I hate it when: people don’t listen to what I say or read what I write and then ask me the same questions over and over again… argh.
7. I’ve come to realize that if I’m drunk: it would be a miracle because I don’t think I’ve ever been drunk.
8. I’ve come to realize that money: can be a VERY touchy subject with some people.
9. I’ve come to realize that my mother: is one of my best friends (aw)
10. I’ve come to realize that I’ll probably always be: unsure of myself in new social situations.
11. I’ve come to realize that I have a crush on: anyone who will offer to babysit for a few hours. Puh-lease!??!
12. I’ve come to realize that the last time I cried was: when I was making Maggie’s birthday video.
13. I’ve come to realize that my cell phone: may go days without ringing.
14. I’ve come to realize that when I wake up in the morning: I look like crap.
15. I’ve come to realize that before I go to sleep at night: I need to read at least a few pages of a book to unwind a bit.
16. I’ve come to realize that right now I am thinking about: how much I am looking forward to the weekend.
17. I’ve come to realize that babies: can change your life.
18. I’ve come to realize that when I get on livejournal (hm, I don’t usually get on livejournal. So I’ll substitute ‘my WordPress Admin Panel’ for ‘livejournal’): I will sometimes sit for several minutes, staring at the blank text field. And sometimes I leave without writing a darn thing.
19. I’ve come to realize that today I will (past tense, since it’s 7pm): had a very fussy, cranky, non-napping child in my house. It was fun.
20. I’ve come to realize that tonight I will: fold laundry, watch tv, go to bed. Wow! Thrilling!
21. I’ve come to realize that tomorrow I will: try to get some work done while Maggie is at daycare.
22. I’ve come to realize that I really want to: get myself organized with work-stuff. I feel all over the place All. The. Time.
23. I’ve come to realize that who is most likely to repost this is: hm, Melissa maybe? (tag! heehee)
24. I’ve come to realize relationships: shouldn’t be difficult.
25. I’ve come to realize love: shouldn’t be difficult, either.
26. I’ve come to realize my best guy friend(s): is my husband.
27. I’ve come to realize my best girl friend(s): each know me in different ways.
28. I’ve come to realize food: is yummy!
29. I’ve come to realize that when I’m a girlfriend: oh man, I haven’t been a girlfriend in a lot of years… leaving this one empty.
30. I’ve come to realize girls and boys: are very different.
31. I’ve come to realize over the summer: I’m going to watch my baby girl on the beach.
32. I’ve come to realize heartbreak: comes and goes.
