You may remember a few months ago when I lost my wedding band. Well, I went to visit my sister’s jeweler who she raved about, and they gave me a great deal on custom-fitting a band around my engagement ring. I picked up the finished product today.

bling!

It’s so weird getting used to seeing All Those Sparkles on my finger! I used to just have the engagement ring plus a plain gold band. How fancy!

    That’s awesome, you got upgraded! I have a simple engagement ring (solitare diamond) and I’m inheriting his grandmother’s wedding ring, so it’s going to be simple as well. Oh well, I’ll get upgraded someday as well. :)

    @Jane: That was our original plan, but 5yrs came and went in June (and I had actually forgotten about, figured we’d just wait till 10yrs? heh) I feel sort of silly buying myself a new wedding band, but I was really missing not having one!
