sharing the burden (not that she’s a burden, but you know what I mean.)

Dan is taking over Maggie’s feedings tonight… well, at least two of them anyway. I have enough milk pumped to cover two feedings, and so me and my boobs get to sleep. SLEEP. For hopefully more than just 2 hours at a time.
Because I? Am tired. Good night.

I hope you get some sleep!! That is great, I never tried it but I remember those nights…. Dont worry it will get easier, Sami still gets up at 3:30 everynight, just to nurse for about 10-15 minutes and she will go right back down, dont worry some baby will start to sleep through the night, she dosen’t, but I dont mind……Good luck!

George did Friday night feedings for me every week, but he’s lucky, because Oliver started skipping them after 8 weeks. He really spoiled us. I’m afraid the second child will make up for it by needing to eat at 2am and 4am until he/she is like 12 years old or something. :P
You gotta love the pump (and your husband, of course)! Enjoy your night of sleep! :)

This is kind of a personal question but is breastfeeding as bad as they say it is?? I mean, dry and painful-wise?

and to answer candace’s question, breastfeeding really isn’t bad at all.

I feel like I should sing you a sweet lullaby. Something tells me you will sleep soundly without it though!

I hope you get some sleep. It gets better, no doubt, but while you are living in the moment sleeps sounds so good. All I can say is make sure, during the day, you sleep while she sleeps, because when baby #2 comes around there is no chance of sleep.
