Just when I was wondering what I would blog about today, Jane tagged me for a meme and made my life easier!

7 Random/Weird Things About Me
1. I hardly ever, ever burp, and if I do, it’s a very wimpy attempt. Instead, I do this weird air-gurgling thing deep in my throat that I just HATE. It used to happen in class when it was really quiet and I’d always try to cover it up with a cough.
2. I am obsessed with lists. I usually have at least 2 Post-Its around the house with a list of things, either to do or to buy at the store. And then there’s my ToDoCue list that I have in Gmail. Constantly working from a list.
3. My elbows can bend backwards at a weird angle (I believe my friend Prissy suffers the same affliction!) I used to freak my friends out with this talent.
4. I twirl my hair in my fingers when I’m tired or deep in thought. I do it a lot while I’m driving or reading a book.
5. I’ve never been very good at organized sports, like softball or basketball. Partly because I’m not coordinated with that sort of thing, and partly because I never cared very much if my team won or not. But I was a cheerleader, and I was coordinated at that AND I cared very much about my team winning.
6. I graduated from high school with a 3.99999999…(on forever and ever) grade point average. And boy, did that make me angry.
7. When I was a kid, I used to tape record myself reading books and making up songs and stories. When we found these later when I was older, it was quite entertaining. I wonder if my mom still has them?

Of course I have those tapes of you reading, singing, “interviewing” your little sister and neighbor kids. You don’t think I would save a huge “New Kids On The Block” button and not save your tapes!!

@mom: haha! I’ll have to get them from you one day… Dan will probably ask for a divorce after hearing them, he won’t want to be married to such a freakshow.
I can’t burp either! What is up with that? I married into a family that can belch with the best of them and usually does quite frequently during meals. (I cannot believe my MIL allowed it growing up but she did).
