out on a high note

After a very long, stressful day that had me almost in tears* on my way to pick Maggie up from daycare, it ended with three glorious events:
1. Maggie. Just her smile is enough to make my day better.
2. A fajita-burrito and chips from Moe’s. Who cares how many Weight Watchers points it was? It was delicious.
3. My college roommate called to share her pregnancy news. ANOTHER BABY COMING!!!!!!!!
So today? Is much better now.
* Nothing major, really. Just struggling with the balance between Everything In The World. Baby, work, trying to be everything to everybody. It’s tiring. I’m tired.

It’s amazing how one single teeny-tiny soul can make you smile so much, right? :)

I so hear you on this one..
Isn’t it funny how one day you are totally up to the task and the next day, well not so much. You would rather bury your head in the sand.
