oh hai. pleez halp me?

Oy. Work is eating me alive. And apparently my brain because I felt the need to use LOLCats language in the title.

This week has been a big blur so far, with 2 days of trying to work during Maggie’s (extremely short) naps, plus one day of driving a gazillion miles to two different meetings with new clients in opposite directions (I did come home with a deposit check for one of them, so yay!) By the time I got home last night, I wanted to cry, I was so tired. Thank GOD Maggie is sleeping through the night.

(Speaking of that, I retired our bottle warmer the other day. I hadn’t really used it in over a week, because I stopped making that ‘just in case!’ bottle before bed to keep in the fridge, so that if she did wake up and was hungry, I wouldn’t have to wake up enough to measure and count scoops of formula- just pop it in the warmer and you’re good to go. I forgot to make it one night, and in the morning I realized that I probably didn’t need to anymore. And since she takes her day-time bottles straight from whatever temp I make them (because yes, I have an angel-baby, don’t be jealous! I’m sure when she’s a teenager she’ll want to dye her hair blue and date a guy with a motorcycle!) I’ve never needed to use it during the day. So- into the pantry for the bottle warmer! More counter-space for Mom!)

So yeah. BUSY. I hate to complain about the success of my freelance business, because hello? MONEY! But it seems like suddenly everyone and their mother wants a website and I’m struggling to keep up. I’ve toyed with the idea of contracting out some of the work to another freelancer who is just starting and wants to build up his/her portfolio… but I’m such a control freak and the idea of letting someone else handle something makes me cringe. I like the idea that Inksplash is all mine. But I also like not feeling that I’m being pulled in 900 different directions at once, so we’ll see. I’d need to find someone very specific and that would take time to interview and talk with people and as I mentioned, I DON’T HAVE THE TIME.

Because of all of the craziness of the past few days, I realized I never posted the video of Maggie rolling over. Now really, I know that we’ve all seen babies roll over before and it probably doesn’t excite you as much as it excites us, but humor me. My life includes excitement over baby events and lots and lots of HTML code right now.

My daughter Allie didn’t mind the temperature of her bottles either. It was wonderful. In fact, she almost preferred them cold. Congrats on the rolling over. It’s so cute. I love seeing when babies who have just learned to roll over do it. It’s so adorable. :)

Rylan also could care less about warm bottles. I always just give her whatever temp it is… We will pay for our good babies later.. (I HOPE NOT!)

I also totally hear you on the work situation… I have my own business.. and with short naps.. LIFE IS HARD!

Okay so I was moving my body WITH her thinking that would help. And when she DID roll over on her own? I clapped!!

And does she not have the tiniest most adorable little footsies in all the land?
