excuse me while I crash

First, you guys are doing great with the name suggestions– I’m loving this game! Some of them we’ve actually been considering already, others we were considering before but nixed them for various reasons, etc. But yay- keep ’em coming!

In other news, I had a really long day today and I’m exhausted. So instead of a real post for the day, go check out my big belly if you haven’t already.

More tomorrow, perhaps. *yawn*

10 more weeks! 10 more weeks!

Enjoy every moment of these last weeks. because you are about to be totally run off your feet. As someone who just recently gave birth (3 months ago), might I suggest two things:

    1) lots and lots of frozen meals. Start cooking now
    2) hire a cleaning service for the first month. So worth it in the long run. (or find someone you know who is interested in cleaning for you for free)

You never can tell what kind of delivery you will have, and its great to not have to think about those things if you are trying to recover and care for a new baby (’cause let’s face it, we love our husbands but they do eventually have to go back to work!)

Yay for relaxing! It’s the best thing to do when the countdown weeks get into the single digits. :)

I second Kristin’s idea above about frozen meals. Between our family & friends bringing us food and the frozen things we’d bought/made in the weeks before, I didn’t have to touch anything but microwave buttons for six weeks after Oliver was born, which was a HUGE help.

Oh, and I forgot to mention last time, but Melissa is a really nice name too. hehe ;)

Yes, absolutely freeze meals! You’ll be so glad you did. Not having to think about anything besides turning on the oven was such a HUGE blessing. (Otherwise we would have ended up having pizza delivery or mac n’ cheese every day for weeks!)

I just looked at your counter – 60 days!! You are so close to meeting your baby girl!
