baby belly at 20 weeks
So um… yeah. Guys? I look really pregnant.
My jaw dropped when I really looked at myself in the mirror. Maybe it’s this shirt? (yeah that’s what all of us women always blame our body issues on, the clothes! heh) Not that I’m upset to look pregnant, but the fact that I’m only halfway there… if I double that belly in my imagination, well… that’s just a bit scary, you think?

Cute shirt! You’re right, maternity shirts seriously DO make people look like 2 months ahead in pregnancy. I remember peeking out of the Motherhood Maternity dressing room and motioning for George to come over, because I was so shocked at how much bigger I looked, even at 6 months. “This makes me look PREGNANT!” I whispered. He just laughed and laughed. :P
If it makes you feel any better, the baby’s biggest growth spurt is between 4-6 months—after that it slows down, and in the last month you won’t get any bigger. (I even went to 41 1/2 weeks but still didn’t get bigger after 35-36 weeks.) I think it’s hard to get used to feeling/seeing your body change so much. But you look adorable. :)
P.S. Like I said on the Flickr comment: tis better to gain a belly than to gain weight. :)
You look great! I love the shirt. And your hair is growing pretty fast too!
You are so adorable. :) And don’t look big at ALL. It has to be the shirt. :)

awww you look great!!!!! You remind me a lot of a coworker who had a baby this April. She had a little girl too :)
You look adorable. Also, I look like that at 10 weeks. :)
Congratulations on reaching the half way point (that’ll be me, next week!).
You’re glowing.
You look adorable!! So, are you having salty cravings? I read somewhere about the pretzels you’ve been eating…

Nope, no cravings for pretzels… I actually haven’t eaten any since I started feeling better with the whole nausea thing. They seemed to be the only thing that helped me when I was feeling sick! I couldn’t bring myself to eat saltines (they make me think of having the flu as a kid!) and pretzels were bland enough, yet they still had some flavor, so I carried a bag of them with me everywhere I went. Through the house, in the car, to my parents’ house, etc. Dan of course thought that was hilarious :)
