I’m writing this from our long-lost laptop that has been out of commission since May. After 2 new motherboards, 2 new power cords, and countless rounds of Dan taking it apart and spreading its guts all over the dining room table, IT IS FIXED.

Which means that while I’m pretty much spending 90% of my time on the couch these days (thanks to first trimester nausea/exhaustion), I can finally get some work done. This is good news, because I have lots of it to do for various new customers (yay!) and the past few weeks have been pathetic as far as my work production goes.

It also means that I’ll probably start posting here again, if I have something more interesting to write about other than how I feel like crap and that so far, being pregnant is not very much fun at all. But the good news is that I’m over halfway through the first trimester (almost 8 weeks) so hopefully I’ll start feeling better soon.

I also finally get to see the doctor for the first time tomorrow. I’m excited, which is weird I think (who gets excited about going to the doctor? and even more than that- an OB/GYN?!) But I’m looking forward to this whole pregnancy thing feeling more real and also finding out a better due date, and just moving forward with all of this.

Dan should be here soon with my dinner (ChickfilA is the only thing that sounded good to me) so I’m out!

I hope you can get some work done! (Never eaten at ChikfilA - I’d never even heard of it until not too long ago.)
