I’m on vacation… I’m on vacation… la la la la la… la la la la la….

We leave tomorrow morning for Charleston South Carolina for our college friend’s wedding. Do you know what the weather is like there right now? huh? DO YOU?!? Well I’ll tell you. (or take a look at this.) It’s gorgeous. Sunny. 80 degrees. Low chance of rain. Sunny. Did I mention sunshine?! We might even go to the beach. THE BEACH. In October. My brain just simply cannot comprehend that. I am even looking forward to the 10+ hour car ride with my husband. Having that much uninterrupted time with nothing to interfere with our conversation… this will be good. And we have good road trip snacks too.

The best part? I will not have access to a computer for FIVE WHOLE DAYS. So even if I start shaking uncontrollably and start having severe withdrawal symptoms, no matter how much I WANT or NEED to logon and check my email, catch up on site updates for clients, etc. I cannot. And that, my friends, is the best vacation gift of all. Forced abstinence.

I, of course, will be taking tons of pictures (though probably not as many as my first/last visit to Charleston: 421 images, and that’s after deleting some in my camera) Probably mostly of the wedding and our friends, some who we haven’t seen in several years. Should be a wonderful time, and I am so looking forward to it.

And now, I am off to finish packing, paint my toenails, and watch the Amazing Race. I have such goals for this evening, don’t I?
