bubble girl

Suddenly, my head has exploded into a big allergyfest. My throat is swollen and itchy (and sore now, from all of the itching), my eyes are watery and puffy, my nose is stuffy, and my head is pounding from all the sneezing I’m doing. It started the other day after we turned off the AC at home and slept with the windows open all night. It was great at the time because the air was fresh and cool, but now the pollen and bad stuff from the outside has taken its toll on me. I feel like poo.

I don’t think it’s that I’m getting … (the ’s’ word… ssh, don’t say it!) I’m pretty sure it’s allergies. There’s a different ‘feel’ to it. But it just bums me out that I can’t even have the windows open at home when it’s finally getting nice out without paying for it later.

Maybe I should live in one of those bubble things, then I won’t have to worry about it.

  1. I don’t know, I have felt the same way since Tuesday and I thought it was allergies AND I have a sinus infection, an ear infection and bronchitis. It’s fun!

  2. Well, I felt that way all last weekend and through this week. For me, it was definitely allergies. Itchy eyes, nose and throat.Runny nose, a slight tickly cough. Horrible. Sometimes, though, if you’re prone to allergies, it can cause a sinus infection. I feel better now, though.I think with the change in the weather, it shook up the pollen and our bodies just had to get accustomed to it. :)

  3. I think you’re exactly right- as soon as it got cooler out, everything started trying to bloom again! so all week I’ve been pretty miserable, blah. I’m doing better today, but I still have a bit of a headache.

  4. good to hear you’re feeling a bit better. I get horrible hayfever, too, but at the moment I have had a cold for about…oh, five weeks. it’s driving me insane. it’s also driving my lecturers insane what with all the non stop coughing in class.
